Arching between two broad slab legs, the Painted Arch Stool turns its flat top down at both ends. Every surface carries loose painted brushwork, a deep brown pooling across the top while pink, green, lavender and cream washes roll down the sides and the legs. It reads as much like a small painting as a seat.
