A houndstooth shell wraps the seat and back of the Houndstooth Post Lounge, its rounded top edge curving down into the arms. Each arm is a horizontal bar carried on a post that runs through the seat as a front leg, and a low rail links the posts below. Rounded dark timber legs splay at the rear.
